Texturz Plate Technique

I have a new favorite technique (ok all of them are my favorite, I love techniques). I am not sure what it is called so we are going to call it "Inking Texturz Plates technique" I know it has a certain name and I am not the one who came up with it. Who ever did "you are wonderful, THANKS"

You will need: a Sizzix Big Shot, multi-purpose board (comes with the Big Shot), Texturz Plates, Standard Texturz Impressions Pad, Standard Texturz Silicone Rubber, classic ink pad, card stock and baby wipes for clean up

Step 1: Ink up your Texturz plate that you chose. Cover the whole area with classic ink. I used Rich Razzleberry (one of my new favorites)

Step 2: Lay a piece of card stock cut to the size you need (I used whisper white card stock and I also make it a little bigger then needed so I can trim off the edges that may not look as good as you would like)

Step 3: Lay the Texturz Silicone Rubber over card stock then the Texturz Impressions Pad over the rubber.

Step 4: Roll it through the Big Shot

Look how pretty this is.

Here is a couple of examples showing this technique.

More from Utah...

Ok it is Friday night and I am exhausted. So much is going on here you really don't have time to think but when you finally sit down you think "man I am tired!" I am on stamping overload. I can not wait to get home to show everyone everything!!!

I was one of the lucky ones who won a pendent that Shelli (Stampin Up CEO) had hand made for about 70 of us. They called my wrist band color. During lunch today we waited in line about an hour to get our picture taken with Shelli. She is such a really nice person. She took the time to chat with everyone on a personal level. She helped me tie the ribbon onto my pendent. While that was happening the guys who were taking pictures decided they would have fun with my camera and took pictures of each other. What goof balls.

Stampin Up has a promotion going on with Build a Bear. We were able to get this really cute bear. He is so flippin cute.

Tomorrow is our last full day here. It is going to be really sad to leave, this is a very pretty area and reality will set back in when I get home.

I am in Utah....

Hello from Salt Lake City

Everything was packed Monday late night and was in bed at a reasonable time but could not go to sleep for the life of me. It wasn't because I was super excited to go I think it was because I was afraid I would not hear the alarm clock and would miss my flight haha, so I ended up being up ALL night. I was at the airport at 5:15 and the plane was delayed about 30 minutes because of the lightening storm. Once we finally took off the flight was really bumpy at first. I of course made it to Houston safely and was on my way to Utah.

I arrived in Utah at noon (Utah time, 2:00 Dayton time). I met up with my room mates Terry, Susan and Deb. All are wonderful. We exchanged great roommate gifts.

Wednesday morning we woke up at 5 and was at memento mall by 7 and it opened at 9. For the 2 hours while we were waiting I swapped about 60 cards. OMG it was so much fun. I can not wait to show everyone them.
I met up with 5 other women and we rented a van and went to Stampin Up office. It was cool to see all the stuff there. Demonstrator support and distribution center was unbelievable.

The scenery is AWESOME.

Tomorrow (Thursday) we have classes and make and takes. I cant wait to take more pictures and post.

Until tomorrow---Good Night
