Card 3

I LOVED HOW THIS CARD TURNED OUT

Other then knowing Winter is on its way (I am not a fan of cold weather and show) Autumn is my favorite time of year.  I used colors I don't normally use but after making this card you will see me using them a little more often.

Bravo Burgundy
More Mustard
Always Artichoke
Cherry Cobbler

Base card is Crumb Cake and card front is Early Espresso
The Big Shot Die to make the leaves is Autumn Accents
To make the veins in the leaves I folded them in half and ran them through the Big Shot with the spider web embossing folder.  I also edged each leaf with the same color ink as card stock just to give it a little more texture.

Trying to do better at posting so here is day 2 in a row

Card 2 from This past Saturday's Stamp Camp.  This was probably the most challenging card we made.  Really it is not do difficult to do and just be a little frustrating to get circles to lay evenly.

To Make this card I just used 11 different 3/4 circles.  I went through my scrap bags and punched away. (what a great card to use some of them up.) I also used Lucky Lime aid card stock for the base card, Whisper White card stock for front. Pumpkin Pie ribbon and ink for saying.  The great part about this card is that you can use any color of button for the center. The Popsicle stick is just a generic stick from candy making supplies at big box store.

Any questions just ask and I will do my best to answer

Lost again...Not really

I know, I know I keep saying I am going to work harder at keeping this up to date and I fail at it every time.  I have been taking several pictures of project I have been working on so let me try again.

I am going to start off with a post about this past weekend stamp camp. I first of all want to thank Kim for opening up for fabulous party room to us.

When I remembered to take pictures a couple of people had finished and when the last group arrived I forgot again to take their pictures lol.  I get to chit chatting with everyone then it hits me I need to take pictures.  Spending time stamping with friends is by far one of my favorite things to do.

This is the first card I am going to show you that we made that day
Isn't this one of the cutest cards ever???
I think this is one of my all time favorites.

Stamp Camp Fundraiser

If you have not heard from me already. I have a friend and his family Matt, Misty, Justin and Madison Donohoo is having a rough time. Matt just found out that he had a brain tumor about 2 1/2 weeks ago, had it removed and is on his way to recovery. Besides having the shock of the tumor Matt was also in the mist of switching jobs. Left one to better himself and also to be closer to home, so the benefits had not kicked in yet. I know Yikes. Matt has a beautiful voice and I just love to hear him sing and his wife Misty just has a heart of gold (actually they all do) and I want to help this family out as much as I can. As I thought about what I can do since I don't have the time to cook dinner (not sure if they would want that from me hehe) and as a single mom I don't really have the funds to donate money I thought to myself let me help them out by doing what I love the most and that is STAMPING.

April 21 from 10-4 I will be at the Englewood United Methodist Church 107 N. Walnut St. Cost is $15 for 5 cards. Additional cards can be make at $3.00 a card.

This is a "DROP IN" style event. Doors will open at 10 a.m. you stop in whatever time is convenient for you. We will begin wrapping up at 3:30 to that everyone has time to complete their cards. All supplies will be pre-cut and ready for to stamp and assemble upon arriving.

If you have thought about coming to a class or wanted to try something new this is the perfect time to try it out. No CREATIVE THINKING is NEEDED. I have done all the work for you.

This is also a great time to have a Mother/Daughter outing. What fun to make some really cute cards and have a bonding moment with your child.

I have one more card to make. I had to order supplies and they will be here in a day or two so look for that card soon.
