supplies and we got 7 totally different cards. Well 6 different cards we had one person (I will not mention any names and it wasn't Laura hehe) who didn't foll
ow directions and she just made 2 of the same card. hehe love Laura, gotta give you a hard time. Enjoy the photos.

Introducing Emily

The boys and I have been really lucky to have a really cute 8 year old come into our lives. Her name is Emily. Emily is very special to us. I actually feel like sometimes she is my own child. I guess with me being adopted I feel like I have adopted her into our family witho
ut going to court or filling out any paper work. Em was diagnosed with Leukemia in March of 08 and is now in remission. Yeah! She and the boys have really connected over the past 5 months. Em and Coleton are really funny to watch, since both of them have to take medicine at bed time they are right next to each other supporting the other. Before Coleton gets his shot we numb the area with an ice pack and Em will get his attention and say “Numb up Coleton” and Em is not able to swa
llow pills yet (she will soon I am sure) Coleton is trying to teach her how to take the pills without having to crush them up. After the pills are crushed (guess she didn’t swallow them yet haha) Em takes the medicine in ice cream but it still gags her and Coleton is right
there saying it is ok. Then off to bed they go. Kel sleeps in his room and Em sleeps in Coleton’s bed while Coleton will make a bed on the floor for him to sleep. Em is really funny, she may be small but boy is she mighty. She gives Coleton and Kelton a run for their money. They love having her come over and doing things with us just as much as she loves doing stuff with them. I can’t imagine doing an activity and not having her with us. I am sure this adorable little girl will be in our lives for a long long time (fingers crossed). Thank you Angie (Em’s mom)for letting us stay in touch with Em, this means the world to me and the boys.

CoCo Key Water Resort

Last weekend John and I took the kids to an indoor water park. We invited his brother Mike and his son Gavin, my friend Melissa and her family Ed, Robbie and Sammy and another friend of mine Shanoa and her son Logan.

As you can see the kids had a great time. I was so busy playing myself that I didn't get the camera out until it was about time to go so I only got a few pictures and I didn't get all of us. I am so sorry to everyone that I did not take more pictures. Everyone who knows me knows I take tons of pictures.

It was nice to sit out in the hot tub while it was snowing. It seemed weird sitting in the really warm water in our swim suits and having the cold snow land on our heads. It was a first for most of us in the group but I know I could get use to it.

Thursday February 19 Make and Take
This Make and Take turned out to be a lot of fun. It was not difficult
to make just time consuming.

I found these little round tins at Target the night before on clearance and thought "What can I make with these?" After I got home I went down to the basement and started playing. It turned out to be the perfect saying since it was cold and snowy on Thursday. I am really ready for Spring.

The supplies needed for this project is
A round tin
Scallop Circle punch (109043)
1 3/8 Circle punch (104401)
1 1/4 Circle punch (104403)
any alphabet stamp set
Whisper White card stock (100730)
any color of card stock combination
ribbon to match card stock
Classic Stampin' Ink pads to match card stock
Mini Glue Dots (103683)
Sponge Daubers (102892)
SNAIL Adhesive (104332)
Directions
1. Use any saying that fits your occasion (we did "Think Spring")
2. Stamp out saying on Whisper White card stock
3. Using 1 1/4 Circle punch punch out each letter
4. Use 1 3/8 Circle punch punch coordinating card stock with letter
5. Punch out Scallop circle punch out of Whisper White card stock
6. Sponge edge of all Whisper White circles with coordinating inks
7. Attach letters to matching card stock with adhesive
8. Attach back side of ribbon to scallop circle with glue dot
9. Attach front side of ribbon to circle punched letters with glue dot
10. I made a loop at the top of my ribbon to hang if desired.
11. Decorate tin and give as a gift
Hope you like and see you with the next posting
